I don’t agree with everything Obama does, but I DISTINCTLY remember him SPECIFICALLY saying that we desperately needed to fix our infrastructure. And I DISTINCTLY remember the GOP telling him to go fuck himself.

It will be interesting to see how the GOP will try to rewrite and reframe this narrative to make themselves look guiltless and find a way to blame Obama for not making them have common sense or common decency.

no, what made that bridge collapse was an 18 wheeler truck that slammed into the overhead structural support while carrying an oversized load. nothing else.

now im not saying that a national discussion on infrastructure funding shouldnt occur. perhaps this is a good time to debate such an issue.

but this bridge’s collapse in and of itself is not a political issue. please do not try to make it one. k thx snarky psa over
